Understanding the key differences between our supply-only and fully installed kitchen options — and which approach is right for your project.
At Shaker Wholesale, every kitchen begins the same way — beautifully crafted, in-frame cabinetry built to exacting standards. The only difference is how it reaches your home: either as a supply-only order for your own installer or for you to install, or as a fully installed project managed by our team.
Both routes give you the same exceptional quality — but they suit slightly different needs, budgets, and timeframes.
Supply-Only — Perfect for the Capable or Connected
A supply-only kitchen means we supply all your cabinetry, panels, doors, and accessories ready for fitting, but you or your chosen installer handle the installation on site.
It’s ideal if:
- You already have a trusted fitter, builder, or project manager.
- You’re managing a wider renovation and want flexibility on timing.
- You’re confident in coordinating trades and finishes yourself.
Your kitchen arrives pre-assembled, clearly labelled, with all base coasts painted, making installation straightforward for experienced fitters. We provide layout drawings, hinge positions, and any technical notes needed for a smooth handover. You’ll need to organise application of the final coat(s) of paint or we can assist with this.
Many of our design-led clients and developers choose this option — it offers exceptional value and total control over scheduling.
Installed Kitchens — The Turnkey Solution
If you’d prefer a fully managed process from start to finish, our installed service is for you.
We take care of everything:
- Detailed survey of your space
- Coordination of delivery and fitting
- Installation by trusted, specialist kitchen fitters
- Final adjustments and quality check before handover
Our installers are familiar with every detail of Shaker construction — ensuring perfect alignment, consistent gaps, and crisp finishing. It’s a hands-off approach that gives you complete peace of mind and a beautiful result.
What’s the Same in Both Options
Regardless of which route you choose, you’ll receive:
- The same handcrafted in-frame cabinetry
- The same choice of finishes and colours
- The same after-sales support from our team
Every kitchen is built, painted, and quality-checked in the same workshop. The distinction is simply in who installs it — not in the standard of what you receive.
Lead Times and Logistics
Production times are identical for both options — typically 12–14 weeks from sign-off and deposit.
For supply-only customers, we’ll confirm a delivery date that fits your project schedule. For installed kitchens, we coordinate the delivery and fitting seamlessly, usually completing the on-site installation within two to three days depending on size.
