1. Introduction: These Terms and Conditions apply to all sales of kitchen cabinetry, kitchen appliances, accessories, and related services supplied by Shaker Wholesale Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) to our customers (“you”, “your”). By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before confirming your order.

2. Quotations and Estimates: All quotations and estimates are provided in good faith and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. If you are “self-installing” your kitchen, quotations are based on the information you provide, including plans and measurements. If Shaker Wholesale is installing your kitchen quotations are based on the survey carried out by Shaker Wholesale. Any changes to design, specification, or layout may affect the final cost. From 1 November 2025, all prices shown include VAT at the current rate.

3. Payment Terms: A 50% deposit is required at the time of order to confirm production of your kitchen. We will not begin manufacturing or scheduling until your deposit payment has been received in full. Once manufacture is complete, we will provide photographs of your finished cabinetry prior to wrapping and shipment. When your order has been allocated a tracking number, and has left port for the UK,  the final 50% balance becomes due in full. No goods will be released or shipped until the final balance has been received and cleared. Payments must be made by bank transfer, or Email payment link by card, to the account specified on our invoice.

4. Drawings and Sign-Off: All kitchen plans and specifications must be checked and approved by you before manufacturing begins. Once drawings and specifications have been signed off, no further changes can be accepted without written agreement and may incur additional cost or delay. If a site survey is included, we will confirm all final dimensions following the visit. Any discrepancies must be resolved before manufacture.

5. Lead Times and Delivery: Typical lead times range between 12-14 weeks from final sign-off and receipt of deposit, though this may vary depending on workload and material availability. Delivery dates are estimates only. We will do our best to meet your preferred timing but cannot accept liability for delays outside our control. Deliveries are made to ground floor level unless otherwise agreed. You are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access for delivery vehicles and cabinetry.

6. Ownership and Risk: All goods remain the property of Shaker Wholesale Ltd until paid for in full. Risk in the goods passes to you on actual delivery (Supply Only) or completion of installation (Supply & Installation). If payment is not made as agreed, we reserve the right to recover any goods supplied.

7. Installation (where applicable): Installation will be carried out by our approved installers or contracted fitters to a professional standard. You are responsible for ensuring the site is ready for installation — dry, level, and with plumbing, electrics, and plastering complete. Installation does not include connection of appliances, plumbing, or electrics unless expressly agreed in writing. Any existing units, worktops, or appliances to be removed must be clearly agreed beforehand. Any post-installation adjustments requested outside the agreed scope may be chargeable.

8. Supply-Only Orders: For Supply-Only orders, you are responsible for fitting, installation, and final adjustments. We cannot be held liable for issues arising from third-party installation, misalignment, or damage caused after delivery. All cabinetry should be carefully stored in a dry, enclosed space prior to installation to prevent damage or moisture ingress.

9. Product Quality and Warranty: All cabinetry is built to a high standard using durable materials and traditional joinery methods. We warrant our cabinetry against manufacturing defects for 5 years from the date of delivery. This warranty does not cover: general wear and tear, moisture damage, or impact damage; movement in timber resulting from changes in temperature or humidity; or alterations or repairs carried out by others. Appliances, worktops, and accessories supplied by third parties are covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty.

10. Cancellations and Returns: As each kitchen is made to order, once production has begun your order cannot be cancelled or refunded. Prior to manufacture, cancellations must be made in writing and may be subject to design, survey, or administration costs. Any non-custom items (e.g. handles, accessories) may be returned within 14 days if unused and in their original packaging.

11. Liability: We will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, delay, or inconvenience. Our total liability is limited to the value of the goods or services supplied.

12. Care and Maintenance: Guidance on caring for your Shaker kitchen is provided in our FAQs section on our website and forms part of these Terms. Proper care will ensure your cabinetry performs beautifully for many years.

13. Governing Law: These Terms and any disputes arising under them shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
